Serving as a platform for a good number of future leaders from Bondey, Paro and adjoining areas, the K. Gangri school has been instrumental in guiding countless knowledge seekers in their most fragile ages, since its inception in the year 2007. A very homely ambience and utmost child care provision is what keeps K. Gangri School one level up from the rest of the private schools in Bhutan.
With 157 energetic students and the usually packed curriculum, Madam Passang, the present proprietor’s dedication and enthusiasm as a modern day educator is simply awe inspiring. Twelve regular and two trainee teachers form the faculty that helps keep alive the dreams and aspirations of the proprietor who believes in creating leaders of tomorrow from the learners of today.
The school provides student and teacher exchange programs with St. Joseph School in Thailand and takes part in all the dzongkha level programs, cleaning campaigns, scout activities and leadership programs.
