Owner Deki Peldon and her staff give close attention to guests' comfort and well being. They are happy to suggest outings to the many tourist attractions in the area: Trashigang Dzong, Chorten Kora, Bomdiling in Trashiyangtse, Yonphula Lhakhang and Yonphu Lhakhang, Rangjung Monastery, Khardung Nunnery, the areas of Merak and Sakteng, and many more. Lingkhar Lodge provides the perfect setting to discover some of these less explored jewels of the east.
Twenty rooms are available, all with attached baths: standard rooms with twin beds, deluxe rooms with twin beds, and suites with king size beds. The rooms are large and luxurious, with spacious bathrooms, living rooms, and verandahs overlooking the valley below. All come with cable television, bathtub with separate shower stall, heating units and hot water, minibars, free wifi, room service and laundry service, complimentary coffee/tea daily, and free wifi.
Lingkhar Restaurant serves authentic Bhutanese cuisine prepared from organic vegetables grown in their own gardens, as well as Indian, Chinese, and Continental foods. The dining area is large and has sweeping views. An on-site bar is open until 10 pm every day except Tuesdays (which are dry days countrywide).
Lingkhar's conference centre can accommodate 44 people, making it a good venue for corporate retreats, workshops, seminars, and conferences. Buffet dining is available.
