Royal Bhutan Flower Exibition

Every November, this recently created event brings together weavers from all of Eastern Bhutan. Artisans display their most beautiful woven creations. Because of the high cost of these fabrics, they are worn only on such special occasions as festivals and weddings. The Textile Exhibition marks a lively occasion, and bursts with celebratory performances, music and fashion shows.

Inaugurated in 2015, the Royal Bhutan Flower Exhibition showcases Bhutan's floral diversity, and includes displays from Bhutanese florists and local nurseries. It features a plethora of local species, including beautiful displays of orchids, azaleas and rhododendrons.

The annual freestyle dance competition is an event organized by Tashi Cell, one of the two cellular service providers in Bhutan, an event that celebrates and provides a platform for the opportunity hungry youth population to showcase their dancing skills in a bid to make a name for themselves.
